Teen Beach Movie Lela

With Halloween just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to team up with some fabulous other bloggers with each of us creating a different Halloween tutorial. This collaboration is sponsored by Coupons.com and hosted by Harshleen of BeautyTidbits. Each blogger received a $50- gift card to shop for makeup products to use for this collaboration. I was provided a $50 GC to Sally Beauty Supply, which could also be redeemed online. Coupons.com offers great online coupon codes to Sally Beauty Supply (and other retailers) to provide you some savings…and really..who doesn’t love to save money!?! They currently have a $5 off $25 or 10% off $50 or more purchases when you order online at Sally’s.

This year my daughter wants our family to dress up as bikers from the new Disney Movie, Teen Beach. She is absolutely obsessed with this movie so we thought, why not? It is a rather simple makeup look to achieve but I loved the outcome nonetheless. For this look, I recreated my version of LeLa from the movie.

Step 1: Apply Habit from the Vice 2 Urban Decay Palette all over lid (or any neutral shade) with a flat shader brush.

Step 2: Apply X-Rated from the Vice 2 Urban Decay Palette  to the crease (or any pink shade) and outer half of lid using a crease brush.

Step 3: Apply Milani White Lie (or any matter shadow) to the center of the lid with a blending brush and blend out everything.

Step 4: Apply IT Cosmetics Hello Light Crème Illuminator highlighter (or your favorite highlight shade) to the brow bone

Step 5: Line your eyes with your favorite liquid eyeliner and wing out the tip.  I used Palladio liquid eyeliner from Sally’s Beauty for this look

Step 6: Apply your favorite black volumizing mascara to both your upper and lower lashes. I used the Tarte lights, camera, flashes mascara for this look. Also feel free to add false lashes if you want.

Step 7: Sweep on your favorite pink blush. I am using the Palladio herbal mosaic powder in Desert Rose for this look.

Step 8: Finally, apply a nudish pink lipcolor to complete the look. I am wearing Mac Hue with FEMME couture lip luster in smooth coral from Sally’s Beauty.
